Čedok starts flying from Prague to Madagascar. The travel agency informed about the new direct flights in a press release. The first trip was made on Saturday, October 1, by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner of the Neos airline. According to the company, the flight on Saturday was the third most watched on Flightradar24.
We informed you about the planned flight in April. At that time, it was assumed that LOT Polish Airlines would connect Prague with Madagascar. In the end, however, the passengers took the line of the Italian carrier.
“We are officially launching direct charter flights from Prague to the African island of Madagascar, which has never been flown to from the Czech Republic before. The first clients of Čedok can thus discover the wonderful beach and nature in the Nosy Be area, or head for some of the sightseeing tours we have prepared for them.” said Miroslav Kubáč, director of Čedok charter tours.
“The first flight is almost completely sold out, and other dates are gradually being filled. The demand is both for a classic relaxing holiday in the exotic, and for tours during which you also visit the main part of the island.” commented on the start of operation.
There is a direct flight to Madagascar’s largest island, Nosy Be, and its international airport, Fascene, which takes 10 hours non-stop. It will be flown exclusively by Neos airline aircraft with a capacity of 359 passengers in two classes – 331 in the economy section and 28 in the business class. The travel agency also offers tours departing every Saturday until the end of this year. The last departure is scheduled for December 31.
“We are very happy that through the travel agency Čedok we can use direct long-distance connections from Prague Airport to exotic destinations together. For the upcoming winter season, we expect an increased interest of Czechs in exotic destinations again, and the opening of direct air connections will encourage this trend even more.” said director of aviation business of Prague Airport, Jaroslav Filip
