Alexei Fedorychev, President of Monaco: “I am looking at the possibility of investing in the French basket”
The Team met Alexei Fedorychev, 67, the president of AS Monaco, who via his company, Fedcom Media, has just launched Skweek, a platform which will broadcast 450 Euroleague and Eurocup matches this season.
Born in the USSR, former owner of Dynamo Moscow, Alexei Fedorychev, who now has Monegasque and Hungarian nationalities, was until now involved in football as a sponsor of AS Monaco before taking over the presidency of the basketball club at the start of ‘year. He moved ASM into overdrive with a budget of around 20 million. He has also been a sponsor of the Euroleague since 2021 and he has met all the club presidents one by one.
“In sport, either you are inside and involved, or you stay outside and spend money for nothing. I am not only interested in Euroleague rights in France, I am also looking at the possibilities of investing in the basket françaishe reveals himself.
