Toulouse. Airbus: engine parts, seats, lamps… Who wants to afford a piece of A380?

An exceptional auction will be held at Toulouseand online, October 13, 14 and 15, 2022. For this event, Airbus announces that 380 batches from a A380 will be for sale.
380 lots to discover
This sale will be carried out in collaboration with the auctioneer Marc Labarbe. On the program, 380 lots (a number that cannot be invented) drawn mainly from the dismantling of theA380 MSN13 by the Tarbes company Tarmac Aerosave. This aircraft, commissioned on October 23, 2008, carried up to 489 passengers in a three-class configuration.
Among the items on sale are “lamps, a bar, a staircase, windows, seats, engine blades, and even the orange suit of the A380 test pilots”, lists Airbus. The most passionate could even afford a piece of… reactor ! Estimate ? Between 10,000 and 15,000 euros.
“In addition, some parts have been painted by contemporary artists to make them unique; others have been made from raw materials used in the A380, to make longboards, skateboards or surfboards.”
“The Airbus Foundation and AIRitage will donate the proceeds from the auction to one or more humanitarian and heritage missions”, concludes the aircraft manufacturer.
