In Prague 2, the mayor will probably not change. Alexander Uzheniya is on his way to a clear victory

WE WATCHED In the Prague 2 district, all votes are counted. And it is clear that this year’s elections were clearly dominated by Together for Prague 2 with the current mayor Alexandra Udženija. Voter turnout here was 41.79 percent.
Alexandra Udženija became head of the Prague 2 City Hall in December of last year, when the then mayor, Jana Černochová, took up the position of the Ministry of Defense. She left her post after fourteen years and remained a representative at the town hall.
Thus, after less than a year at the head of the district, Uženija was facing elections.
Together for Prague 2, where he is the leader, he received 35.6 percent of all votes. there is a big rebound and in second place is PRAGUE 2 SOBĚ with 19.18 percent. The Czech Pirate Party has 18.52 percent. In fourth place is the YES movement, which has 11.37 percent.
Alexandra Udženija has been a member of the ODS since 2003, and is also the president of the ODS regional association in Prague 2. Since 2006, she has been a representative of the Prague 2 district, since 2015 she has held the position of deputy mayor of Prague 2, and the following year she was elected 1st vice-president of the ODS.
“Here at Dvojka, we repeatedly prove that honest work for citizens pays off. In the same way, after years of experiments, the Prague municipality deserves professional leadership,” Udženija mentioned on Facebook on the day of the election. There she also shared that she went to vote for the first time with her older daughter. “I believe she must have made the right choice,” she mentioned.
