The voters decided that in Berounska, one of the most distant senators, Ji Oberfalzer (ODS), will try for a fourth term in office. The incumbent vice-chairman of the upper chamber of the Parliament is facing Janis Sidovskho (LES+SEN 21) in the second round. In the first round, he had an even fight with the mayor of Karltejn. In the end, however, the voters leaned towards Oberfalzer quite clearly, he scored a jump of around eight percent.
On the other hand, Mlnicko can be said to be somewhat of a surprise. Petr Holeek, who represents the Starosty and is independent, will not leave his post of Senta there. Zdenk arapatka (TOP 09), a columnist and former member of the Council of the Czech Television, who is also known for his dispute with the current president Milo Zeman, remained in the field of the defeated.
After an unusually close fight, the two women go further. The mayor of the village of Hlavenec in the district of Prague-Vchod Jarmila Smotlachov (ODS) and Andrea Brzobohat for ANO are competing for the senate.
You have to talk to ordinary people, mayors and representatives of various organizations. To find out the problems and to try to find them is to lobby, says the voter Andrea Brzobohat. Her partner wants to use two dozen years of work in municipal politics. So I dare to say that I know this region for a long time, thinks Jarmila Smotlachov.
On the other hand, the triumph of long-standing senator Jaromr Strnad (SSD+ANO) in the district of Kutn Hora was clear. He managed a distance of no more than ten percent from second place Bohuslav Prochzka (KDU-SL). The voters between them will decide definitively any day and in the second round. If I get permission from the electorate to continue my work, I would like to devote myself to the issues of agriculture and transport, said Jaromr Strnad. The interest of the Kutnohorsk senate elections was the candidacy of the Flemish mayor Luka Jenita (STAN).
He has already tried his hand at the top of the hill, but not for the Beneov district. He didn’t do well this time either, but it didn’t mean he didn’t advance to the fourth place.
st Stedoech watched the election results in Jinsko with equal tension. A specific resident of some municipalities in Nymburk, including Nymburk itself, which elects the first senator in the district with the village of 37 Jin.
