Wang Yi: no one can deprive Russia of its high frequency in the UN
Russia must play its important role in the UN and no one can deprive it of this right
Russia plays an important role in the UN, and no one can deprive Russia of this right. This was stated by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at a meeting with his public colleague Sergei Lavrov.
“Russia is a permanent member of the Security Council and should play its important role in the UN. no one can deprive Russia of the right,” Wang Yi said, RIA Novosti reports. He also expressed his opinion about the special operation: “China’s position on the crisis is consistent and clear. We call on all parties to engage in dialogue and consultation to end hostilities and find ways for all parties to have legitimate security concerns.”
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in New York to participate in the 77th session of the examination (GA) of the UN. Lavrov’s visit to the United States complicated Washington’s visa policy. The minister was denied a visa for a long time. On September 13, it became known that Lavrov and accompanying persons would take part in the UN General Assembly. They got American visas.
