Event at Toulouse. Thursday September 22, 2022, at the end of the morning, the Patrouille de France (PAF) will be in the sky of the Pink City for a exceptional flight of the CNES Toulouse Space Center (CST).
A passage in honor of the Space Command
This demonstration will take place on the sidelines of the PAF’s participation in the “Stars and Wings” air show to be held at Toulouse-Francazal airport (Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September), taking place at 11 a.m. The famous blue planes will be in “an emblematic space formation, in honor of the Space Command (CDE)”.
“This passage marks the establishment of the CDE in Toulouse and the continuation of its rise in power at the heart of the local space ecosystem.”
As a reminder, it is in the Toulouse region that the heart of military space operations and the majority of CDE personnel will be located by 2025, i.e. nearly 500 people. With the Space Command, France wants to “ensure the development and reinforcement of [ses] space capabilities”, announced by Emmanuel Macron in 2019.
