From Vienna to Termoli Music the trombone Enzo Turriziani in duo with the piano
First appointment (after the preview in the Cathedral) of the TermoliMusica 2022 season.
It starts in a great way, with Enzo Turriziani, 1st Trombone of the Vienna State Opera and the Wiener Philharmoniker, who for the occasion will be accompanied by the pianist Désirée Scuccuglia.
The appointment is Sunday 25 September at 6 pm at the Cinema Sant’Antonio in Termoli.

BIOGRAPHY OF ENZO TURRIZIANI
Born in Rieti on 08/29/1989, he had his first approach to music at the age of 5 in the band of Poggio Mirteto directed by his grandfather Giacomo Di Mario alongside his father Maurizio, who was himself a trombonist. He graduated from the G. Briccialdi conservatory in Terni in 2009 with the teachers of A. Di Mario in the first year and M. Costanzi up to graduation.
At a very young age he began his first experiences in orchestra (Open city orchestra, Lazio Regional Orchestra, Terni Symphony Orchestra, Rome Symphony Orchestra and others). He participates in orchestral specialization courses at the “Scuola di Musica del Trasimeno” in the years 2005-06-07-08-09. He attended courses and masterclasses with internationally renowned masters such as A. Mazzucco (Rai National Symphony Orchestra), A. Conti (National Academy of S. Cecilia), D. Morandini (Israel Philharmonic), J. Alessi (New York Philharmonic) , C. Vernon (Chicago Symphony Orchestra) and I. Bousfield (Wiener Staatsoper / Philharmoniker). In 2006 he is eligible to audition for the Italian youth orchestra. In October 2009 he won the first trombone competition at the Symphony Orchestra of Rome with which he collaborates permanently for 3 years. In September 2010 he was eligible for the first trombone audition held by the G. Verdi theater in Trieste, thus collaborating as first trombone with the orchestra of the aforementioned theater. In November 2010 he was requested by the workers of the “Band of the Italian Air Force” for the performance of M. Ravel’s Bolero, making a live DVD of the concert. In October 2011 he won the first trombone competition at the RAI National Symphony Orchestra with which he is engaged for about 3 years. In February 2014 he won the first trombone competition at the Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia. In May 2017 he is the winner of the first solo trombone competition (soloposaunist) at the Vienna State Opera and since August 2020 he is a member of the Wiener Philharminiker. As a soloist among the major collaborations stand out the Santa Fiora festival in duo with piano, the Umbrian Philharmonic 2014 season accompanied by the Umbrian Symphonic Band, the 2017 “Marenco” festival in Novi Ligure accompanied by the Italian Air Force Band, the 20/21 season of the Colibrì Ensemble (Pescara Chamber Orchestra) and the “Udine Estate” festival.
In the context of teaching he was a teacher at the “Aria di musica” school in Rome; he is currently the trombone teacher at the Sincronia Musica association in Rome and the trombone teacher at the Wiener Philharmoniker academy. He is festival and required to give masterclasses around the world (Japan, China, USA, Canada etc.). He has also collaborated as a guest with the Tito Schipa foundation in Lecce and the Teatro Alla Scala in Milan. He is involved in the social and human rights struggle with the Human Rights Orchestra cooperating with the greatest musicians in the world.
BIOGRAPHY OF DESIREE SCUCCUGLIA
Currently professor of piano at the “N.Sala” Conservatory of Benevento, she graduated with full marks, honors and honorable mention under the guidance of Fausto Mastroianni, then perfecting herself with the Masters Michele Marvulli, Lucia Passaglia and Bruno Canino.
She obtained with full marks and Guarino Award (reserved for the best graduates) the High Specialization Diploma of the three-year Chamber Music Course at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia Foundation in Rome under the guidance of Rocco Filippini and she perfected with the Trio of Trieste, at the Chigiana Academy and at the Duino Higher Chamber Music School and with the Milan Trio at the Fiesole Music School.
She graduated in musical disciplines with the highest marks and honors and always obtained with the highest marks, the two-year master’s degree in didactics at the University of Tor Vergata.
Winner of numerous solo and chamber music competitions, since the age of 12 she has held recitals for the most important associations in Italy and abroad.
She has been collaborating teacher in prestigious courses and masterclasses (W.Stauffer Academy, Pontino Festival, Fiesole Music School, AIF, Toscanini Foundation of Parma, International Brass Festival of S.Fiora) held by internationally renowned teachers.
He has been collaborating on a regular basis for more than ten years with the National Academy of Santa Cecilia-Rome, an institution in which he has repeatedly held the role of collaborator teacher of advanced training courses, collaborator of the choir, stage teacher, pianist and celesta d ‘orchestra. He collaborates in chamber ensembles with the first parts of the most prestigious Italian and international orchestras.
For ten years she was Music Assistant and Pianist at the Symphony Orchestra of Rome with which she recorded as a soloist the Concerto op.69 by Alfredo Casella for Naxos and the Concerto a 5, the Fantasia Slava and the Concerto Misolidio for Brillant Classic as part of O.Respighi’s integral as well as a large number of symphonic titles (as an orchestral pianist) and with which she performed as a concertante piano in orchestra at the Berlin Philarmonie, the Carnegie Hall in New York, Cadogann Hall in London and the Musikverein in Vienna.
