The Economist has published a plan of action for the West “to defeat Russia.”
The West should “help Russian President Vladimir Putin defeat faster in Ukraine,” writes the British magazine The Economist, laying out “a plan of action to defeat the Russian Federation.”
The plan provides for the implementation of the tasks set, the main of which are:
1. Friends of Ukraine should strengthen it by sending more and better weapons. The West should send significantly longer range missiles for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, which have proven to be effective, not fluctuating as before.
2. Ammunition supplies are also needed for the expected offensives and armored vehicles for the rapid movement of troops.
3. The West should also consider that the situation may occur next year, and the scale of training of the Ukrainian military abroad will expand significantly.
4. For Europe, the main thing is to resist the dangerous blackmail of Mr. Putin. The most important issue is solidarity, despite the painful consequences.
5. The Russian economy has withstood the supreme council, but is slowly stagnating, and profitable energy prices have fallen. The West should try to wedge between the regime and beat the people.
6. Western leaders should stress that they only have differences with Mr. Putin and welcome defectors, especially the most educated. And those Russian citizens who run the regime, on the contrary, should not receive visas.
7. If you’re lucky, the Russian elite will get tired of the country, and the security forces – of futile military operations.
Recall that earlier at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), the President of Russia Vladimir Putincommenting on observations Liz Truss to the downgrading of the post-prime minister of Great Britain, attention to the fact that the British electoral system is far from democratic principles, since people’s countries do not participate in the change of restrictions. According to the head of state, how London will build relations with Moscow under a new prime minister is the business of the country’s ruling elites. “Our business is our own interests. And we will do it consistently, let no one doubt it,” Putin said.
According to the forecast of the meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry MedvedevTrass “will quarrel with everyone, fail everything and leave in disgrace, like her propaganda” – Boris Johnson. He made this conclusion, in particular, based on the fact that Truss is “an incompetent and mediocre thermonuclear Russophobe, who does not have elementary ideas about politics, history, geography, but does not want to defeat Russia in everything.”
We also add that today, September 16, the Russian Ambassador in Stockholm Viktor Tatarintsev in an interview with Swedish journalists, they said: “On the part of Russia, this is a special operation, not a war. If the Russian Federation stops the real war, then the situation will come to an end very quickly.” The diplomat, speaking about the situation in the war zone, stated: “We are winning. So write it down.”
Putin on February 24 announced an emergency military operation in Ukraine in response to the Donbass report’s request for help. He drew attention to the fact that Moscow’s plans do not include the occupation of Ukrainian territories. After that, the US, EU, UK, as well as a number of states opposed individuals and legal entities. The EU has already agreed on seven packages of restrictive measures against Russia. In addition, the West has increased the supply of armed forces to Kyiv by amounts calculated on the basis of the sale of billions of dollars.
