Russia loses the ability to export oil – Secret firm
Oil and condensate production in Russia sank by 170,000 b/d and amounted to 10.96 million barrels daily. The IEA notes that this is the first monthly decline in oil production since April.
According to the forecasts of the organization, from September to December, Moscow will reduce oil production and allocate up to 10.2 million barrels per day due to the weather due to a ban on oil imports to Russia by marine consumption. Ultimately, the average production for the year at 10.9 million b/d is “about the level of 2021” (10.87 million).
Agencies expect Russia to produce 9.6 million barrels of oil per day in early 2023, with export savings shrinking even further.
In July, Russia earned about $19 billion from oil exports, which is $2 billion less than in a single month. As a result, there is a decrease in the volumes sold and a decrease in oil prices.
Since the beginning of the year, Russian oil exports have dipped by 115,000 b/d to 7.4 million b/d. Most deliveries were stockpiled to the US, countries of origin, the UK, Japan and South Korea.
At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on August 25 that gas and gas consumption in the country’s budget had increased. It achieves this, despite the problems that are repeated in Moscow.
