Ifi BL: MTK gained a three-goal lead against Jelgava
MTK Budapest could have won with a margin of more than three goals against Jelgava of Latvia in the first round of the Youth Champions League, in any case, they can still prepare for the return match in Latvia.

The MTK Budapest U19 team gained a reassuring lead in the UEFA Youth League, i.e. the Youth Champions League. It is worth knowing about the event that the youth teams of the adult BL group play against each other, but the European champion teams not included in it can play in a knock-out system and reach the best.
MTK Budapest could also start on the latter route and, based on what we saw, could have won a knockout victory against Jelgava of Latvia. And it’s not just that in the 21st minute Benedek Barkóczi his penalty was saved by Raivio Sturins, but based on what we saw, there was a significant difference between the skills of the two teams. The visitors tried to get the ball out, the blue and white players attacked them, and in almost every case the ball was stolen, as a result, the members of the Hungarian team created a lot of situations, but the finishes were not successful. Perhaps it is strange to describe this after a three-goal victory, but as they say: there was more to this…
Shortly before the end of the first half Mátyás Kovács took the lead with a spectacular goal, then in the second half from a pass by Benedek Barkóczi Ádám Merényi came out with the ball and doubled MTK’s lead. In her hair it seemed Ádin Molnár his favorite number may be 88, since he set the final score in this jersey and in this minute. MTK can therefore safely travel to the second leg in Latvia at the beginning of October, it would be a huge surprise if Jelgava fights to advance from this situation.
If the youngsters of the Hungarian team improve in front of the opponent’s goal, they can go far in this series. 3-0
