Candidates of the “United Russia” action are being certified in the municipal elections in the capital, according to the telegram channel of the Moscow city branch of the department.
“Moscow has made its choice! In Moscow, the last day of elections of municipal deputies has ended. And after the counting of votes on the DEG, candidates from United Russia are in the lead,” the report says.
1,748,616 people took part in online voting. According to preliminary calculations of the results in the DEG, candidates from United Russia are currently in the lead. This means that more than 1.1 municipal deputies nominated by the party receive mandates.
Elections of deputies of municipalities took place on September 9 at 8:00 and lasted until September 11 at 20:00. Polling stations were open daily from 8:00 to 20:00 for three days. Online voting also took place during this period.
This year, municipal deputies were elected in 125 out of 146 municipalities. The bulletins included 5,638 punishments. There were 3,261 polling stations in the city. At the same time, there were no district sections in the pre-trial detention center and hospitals this time.
The total turnout at 18:00 on September 11 rose by 32.8%. More than 1.7 million Muscovites voted remotely. Over 645,000 voters cast their votes at polling stations in accordance with the format.
The Public Headquarters for Election Observation in Moscow has learned that since the start of voting, not a single serious violation of procedure has been identified. In particular, no facts of double voting were recorded.
At the same time, there were funny cases. For example, one voter came to vote dressed as a transforming robot, gypsies in separate costumes sang and danced in a separate polling station, and another voter brought a ferret with them to vote, who had no one to leave at home with.
