Three-day elections are over in Russia. United Russia wins
In Russia on Sunday, September 11, a three-day vote took place in elections at various levels. According to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission, representatives of United Russia are leading in the gubernatorial and parliamentary elections.
Governors were elected in 14 regions. Only in two of them at the time of the vote count on Sunday evening win self-nominated – Mikhail Evraev in the Yaroslavl region and Yuri Zaitsev in Mari El. The remaining candidates for the post-Soviet region are from United Russia.
Elections to parliamentary assemblies were held in six regions. By Sunday night, candidates from United Russia were in the lead in all of them.
In Moscow, turnout in overpriced municipal elections at 6 p.m. is almost 33 percent (electronic and voice voting). More than 1.7 million people voted remotely, and 645,436 ballots were issued to voters at polling stations. The turnout for electronic voting reaches 41 percent.
The head of the CEC, Ella Pamfilova, said that the turnout in voting through the electronic system in the regions where it was discovered reached more than 83 percent, and about 92,000 Russians voted remotely.
The CEC gathered shortly after the closing of polling stations that did not record any major gatherings during the voting. At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that the police opened eight criminal cases related to the elections, and found 156 identified violations. The Interior Ministry did not release details.
Pamfilova demanded that the results of the elections of heads of regions and legislative assemblies not be summed up before September 14, so that all complaints could be considered.
In the Duma, Gose said that the consequences of the elections in Russia on the part of Western countries had become obvious. Vasily Piskarev, Head of the State Duma Commission on Investigating the Intervention of Foreign States notedthat activities to promote “beneficial to the West are being pursued coordinated and financed by five control centers from the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden and Ukraine.” Piskarev did not provide evidence.
Movement for the rights of voters “Voice” for the third day of voting, at 18:00 Moscow time on September 11, received 186 favorites to the hotline, 298 messages to Map One and some other communication channels. Most messages came from Moscow – 107.

According to OVD-Info, during the three days of voting in connection with the elections throughout Russia, 19 people were detained. Nine of them are candidates, five are observers.
Previously following the results election campaign Golos stated that there was practically no pre-election campaigning and no real collegium in the elections.
Moscow can be considered an exception, where protests against the war with Ukraine and criticism of the Kremlin took place within the boundaries of municipal deputies. Some of them were withdrawn from the elections. Alexei Navalny’s “Smart Voting” team’s project this year only made voting recommendations in Moscow and – contrary to past practice – revealed additional screening criteria, including their refusal to support the war.
