I should have substituted, I take it upon myself, coach Dostálek said self-critically

With two goals to win Zbrojovka, captain Jakub Řezníček has already improved, he decided on four hits just like his last Michal Ševčík. So far, Řezníček has scored all of them on outdoor courts. “Goals taste the same away from home. It hasn’t worked out for me at home yet, I hope it will come with Teplice, for example,” the Brno captain looked forward to Saturday’s home game.
He showed his strength in the first half, when he kept the ball in the area around him, went around the defender, beat home goalkeeper Matej Rakovan and sent the guests into the lead.

The key moment came right at the beginning of the second half. Rakovan was about to start a Zlín counter-attack, Brno midfielder Filip Souček pushed at him, and Cameroonian footballer Joss Didiba stood in his way. Referee Hocek let the game continue, but at the next stoppage, after the intervention of the video referee, he reviewed the situation from the video and ordered a penalty kick, which was safely converted by Řezníček in the 51st minute. “I thought it was going to be a foul on the goalkeeper or defending in the set-piece. I had no idea that it could be a penalty kick,” wondered Zlín stopper Václav Procházka.
Řezníček did not hesitate at the penalty. “I don’t know what happened there, I just saw Suk lying there. I think he elbowed him, pointless in my opinion. I believed in the penalty. The goalkeeper made a move, so I put it on the other side,” smiled Řezníček.
In eight minutes, Brno led by three goals, when the underdog Didiba knocked the ball into his own net in front of Ševčík after Jan Hladík’s cross from the right.
But the cobblers did not give up and Jakub Janetzský and Youba Dramé pulled the home team to a single goal difference. “Zlín came into it very well with a substitution, they put us under pressure. Here I take it upon myself, I should have entered it more actively, I should have taken turns. You could see the desire in the players, everyone wants to play the whole game and nobody wanted to leave the field, so I left them space and it almost didn’t pay off for us. Thanks to the substitution, we corrected it in the end and we are happy for the three points, but it was nerves,” coach Dostálek breathed a sigh of relief.
Another short by Didiba and a special penalty. Zbrojovka takes three points from Zlín
Zbrojovka even survived the seven-minute setup and rejoiced at the win in Zlín, where they had lost in five previous first league duels. “At the end, we had a lot of mistakes, Zlín created pressure and we are glad that we dug it in. That ending is a warning finger, we can’t complicate things like that. We should have played it off with an exaggeration of exhibitionism, shoved the ball, been in motion and had fun,” pointed out Řezníček.
