Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said that Russia is currently not ready for negotiations on Ukraine’s position, which is “absolutely normal.”
He said it live Radio NVAn Ukrinform correspondent reports this.
According to Podolyak, in identifying the norms of consensus in the community, it should be clearly articulated when it can sit down at the negotiating table.
“There is a clear understanding in society that the war must end properly on Ukraine’s terms and without any Minsk Protocols. […] Therefore, there is such a consensus,” the official said.
After Russia’s large-scale war crimes, “something else has been added to this consensus – that we should receive a large amount of debt from Russia.”

He said that President Volodymyr Zelensky had repeatedly voiced Ukraine’s position in the talks.
“We formulate them as follows: I ask you to leave our entire region, not to withdraw all troops to the conditional borders on February 23, but to the borders internationally recognized in 1991, including the Crimean peninsula, to destroy all discovered objects. called the Kerch bridge. After that, we will sit down at the negotiating table,” Podolyak said.
In his opinion, the Ukrainian side is ready to talk about three things: “The first is reparations in terms of all the losses that Ukraine has suffered. The second is how we, living together, from you. [Russia] Neighbors of Ukraine in terms of security. “The third is a certain legal responsibility that many people should bear, including Russian citizens who have committed cases in Ukraine,” he said.
At the same time, Podolyak said that “today Russia is not yet ready for an acceptable negotiating position of Ukraine.”
