Russia and China through their cooperation confirmed that the modern world cannot be unipolar
Viacheslav Volodin, following a meeting with the head of the Chinese parliament, Li Zhanshu, said that Russia and China had confirmed by their cooperation that the modern world cannot be unipolar. As the speaker of the State Duma noted, they discussed a wide range of issues. In particular, communities with experience in countering challenge and sanctions pressure meet in the parliaments of the two countries.
“It is important for us, within the framework of inter-parliamentary cooperation, to do everything in order to lead to decisions taken at the level of heads of state, but also, of course, to try to find those formats that will correspond to today, are more considered, with the theme that relations between peoples are discussed close, and the result of our work was our country, the Russian Federation, and China,” said Viacheslav Volodin.
We also discussed the situation in Ukraine. Viacheslav Volodin thanked his Chinese colleague for his understanding and objective reverse speed.
“I think that the essence of the Ukrainian crisis is the appropriate rebuff that Russia gave to a serious provocation. Indeed, there is currently a proxy war going on in Ukraine, the US does not want or dare to directly send its fleets to Ukraine, but they use all other resources to put pressure on Russia. They want the crisis to take on a long, increasingly complex, expansive character. And in this process, Ukraine becomes just a victim of politics in general, on which Europe also depends,” Li Zhanshu said.
