The school will not introduce the Unified State Examination at the rate “Russia is my history” – Rosobrnadzor

Rosobrnadzor reported that they do not plan to introduce the Unified State Examination at the rate “Russia – my history”. Writes about it TASS.
It is noted that within the framework of classes approaching the general school history course, high school students learn more about significant private events and their impact on the formation of the state in Russia.
“The course” Russia – my history “, as stated by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, complements the course of the history of Russia, synthesizing general history, social studies and other humanitarian subjects.
To date, only “Russian language” and “Mathematics” are subjects, for subjects passing the exam is required. By choice, graduates give:
- “Literature”;
- “Physics”;
- “Chemistry”;
- “Biology”;
- “Geography”;
- “History”;
- “Social science”;
- “Foreign language”;
- “Informatics”;
- “Native language”;
- “Native literature”.
However, in the roadmap that was posted on the official website website The Baikal Education Forum says that in 2025-2026 the next state exam for the course “Russia – my history” may be introduced.
The implementation of this course involves several groups. In September to December 2022, it is planned to be tested as part of extracurricular activities in 26 regions. In 2023, a separate textbook “Russia – my history” will be developed. Full-scale training in the educational process is planned for 2024 and 2025. It is taken by students in grades 4-11 and students of 1-2 courses of colleges.
It is noted that the USE on the knowledge of society can be adjusted taking into account the study of the module. The study of the course also implies additional points to the results of the Unified State Examination for admission to universities.
Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that teachers and educators need to deal with children about Russia, otherwise another state could do it.
The official representative of the Kremlin did not rule out the transformation of extracurricular activities “Talk about the important” into a profanation, because everything depends on the study of human perception. Lessons in focusing on nurturing moral qualities in children, such as kindness, as well as on introducing the younger generation to adult places of residence, outstanding personal qualities and other aspects. According to the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov, the lessons complement the program of historical education in schools.
