Barnaul. September 7th. INTERFAX-SIBERIA – A criminal case has been initiated in the Altai Territory against a resident of Biysk for calling for extremism, the press service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation for the region reports.
According to the press service, an unemployed resident of the region, born in 1986, voiced close to sharply radical views towards the citizens of Russia, including his intention to carry out actions of force in human habitats.
Later it was established that he, being an import of nationalist organizations banned in Russia, distributed information about the anti-Russian orientation in instant messengers and social networks, including calls to kill Russians, the press service reports.
In addition, for public discredit, he collected and disposed to the moderators of foreign telegram channels personal data of imports of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as fake information distributed by foreign intelligence services.
During a search in the case of the whereabouts, materials with nationalist slogans and calls for violence, as well as symbols of banned nationalist organizations, and instructions for making terror weapons were found on a computer and phone. All means of communication and communication, as well as photo and video equipment, were confiscated.
The investigating staff of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Altai Territory initiated a criminal case against the man under Part 2 of Art. 2 tbsp. 280 of the Criminal Code of Russia (public calls for the implementation of extremist activities using information and telecommunication networks, including the Internet). A resident of Biysk admitted his guilt and repented of his deed. The investigator chose against him a measure of restraint in the form of a written undertaking not to leave and in the proper manner for the intended purpose.
