Mayors from the Republic of Moldova, present at the Municipal Fair in Pașcani ~ InfoPrut
The Republic of Moldova cannot grow and develop on its own, but needs external partners, said the president of Glodeni district, Ion Cojocari, who continues to establish new partnerships with local public authorities in Romania.
“A reliable partner that has absolutely disinterestedly helped the Republic of Moldova is Romania, billions of lei granted to our country for the most vital fields, education, health, infrastructure, etc. that we can take the necessary experience to implement policies, attract foreign investments and properly administer local affairs”he emphasized, according to Punctul.md.
Thus, at the initiative of the Project Development and Expertise Institute and the invitation of the mayor of Pașcani, Iași, Marius Pintilie, several mayors from the Republic of Moldova participated, on Sunday, September 4, at the Municipal Fair, where several local elected officials from Iași County, deputies, senators and representatives of the Romanian Government.
“In discussions with Romanian partners, we approached the possibility of joint cross-border project implementation, with external financing, in joint special projects for the construction of Water and Sewerage Networks, Rural Tourism Development and Local Infrastructure. All the more so that the Glodeni District Council already has several project documentation in these areas, with the clear objective of stability”added the president of the Glodeni district, Ion Cojocari.
The “Târgul Comunelor” was organized in collaboration with the Directorate for Agriculture of Iași County and the GAL Siret Moldova and had the aim of promoting local products and traditions from the area.
