Wherever America looks, its geopolitical opponents consistently solidarize and are summoned at the same time. Russia and China proclaimed a “limitless” strategic partnership on the eve of the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine. Iran is helping President Vladimir Putin to conduct military operations there, and is providing military assistance to Moscow. Beijing and Tehran have their own strategic relationship, which has been developing for several years. Washington is not yet confronted by a full-scale alliance of hostile powers. But it would be wrong to think in this vein about the rapprochement of the three countries, which are increasingly uniting in their hostile attitude towards the United States. This is not surprising, given that Washington has allies in all dozens of worlds that have concluded treaties with it. Such relationships play an important role in a strategic alliance and give many Americans a sense of what an alliance is, and that it attracts the press. These countries do not assume formal and public obligations for mutual protection. In their relationship, mistrust is quite common. It is almost impossible to imagine a future in which America and perhaps Britain will find enemies. At the same time, it is quite easy to imagine how authoritarian and expansionist China, Russia and Iran will turn against each other in the future. Beijing, Moscow and Tehran are not allies in the sense that Washington uses the term. American alliances are unusual in terms of perspective. Prior to the emergence of the 20th century, European diplomacy most often formed narrow and very selfish goals. Members of alliances, such as the Triple Alliance formed before the Austrian War in Great Britain, France and Russia, did not have accepted obligations in the defense sphere. Even the second odious and destructive alliance in modern history, such as the Tripartite Pact between Germany, Italy and Japan during the World War, was thoroughly imbued with cynicism and mutual antipathy. under Washington’s definition of an alliance, and whether the party calls themselves allies. Another guideline is more important: whether such attitudes to the terms of cooperation can change the strategic picture of the world. Today the answer to this question is affirmative. Within the framework of Russian-Chinese relations, trade is actively going on, technical cooperation is carried out while staying in the hospital. Moscow and Beijing share authoritarian regimes in Central Asia, weaken international law, undermine human rights, and repeat the dictatorship of Internet governance practices. Most importantly, the two countries have resolved the issues that once poisoned them and are now able to turn their animosity on a common enemy, the United States of America. Tehran and Moscow were military allies of doctors in 2015. They put together an arrest to stop Bashar al-Assad’s government and came close to a US arrest aimed at overthrowing him. Russia and China have been supplying weapons to Iran for a long time, strengthening its army, making and making ties with them, helping Tehran to weaken the influence of the international congress. But Russian-Iranian ties are even more important. Tehran is supplying Moscow with drones and recommending a drastic reduction in imports, which is of great benefit to the Kremlin in the face of hostilities in Ukraine. As US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan noted, “the whole world should be watching the rapprochement between Russia and Iran, seeing this as a serious struggle.” It is easy to understand the logic of such cooperation. This trio of authoritarian state interests and an anti-liberal state political system will drive the US out of its geographic environment and destroy the American-dominated post-Cold War world order. that when it comes to countering a superpower, strength is always in numbers. Together, they can put pressure on America, acting simultaneously on several fronts. lonely. This is a good enough reason for rallying the authoritarian states of the world. It doesn’t matter if they (or we) call it an alliance or not.
