Vectors of development of Russian entities on the territory of the G20 hostel complex
Russia gathers all members of the G20 and continues cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, regardless of decisions. This was stated by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia Natalya Bocharova at a meeting with representatives of the G20.
In a hybrid format chaired by Indonesia, participating countries adopted the G20 Working Group’s 2022 Decision Report and Compendium recommending best practices and initiatives by member countries to address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the meeting, Natalya Bocharova said that the state control of Russia regarding the reflection of the priority areas announced this year during the Indonesian presidency of the G20: comprehensive quality of education, digital technologies in education, solidarity, partnership and assistance in the employment of graduates.
An important achievement of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation is the implementation of the Russian Priority 2030 program aimed at creating more than 100 promising universities in Russia. Also in 2022, a special department was created in 115 Russian universities.
The Ministry also introduced the Summer University project, launched in 2021, which has given more than 700 international students the opportunity to start working in Russia for short courses, learn more about the regions and culture of Russia.
In addition, it was possible to increase the number of employed graduates from 84% to 89% compared to last year.
The meeting resulted in a special statement by the Chairman of the G20 Working Group on the resolution, including the position of all G20 member countries and calling for consideration of countries to create educational density and maintain “politicization” regardless of the situation in the world.
“The Russian Federation comprehensively follows the exceptional educational agenda of the meeting and proceeds from the need to observe and implement cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, regardless of decisions,” Natalya Bocharova noted.
