The amount allocated by Russia to the International Football Federation for television rights to show this year’s World Cup has been named. The tournament will be held from November 20 to December 18 in Qatar.
All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, Perviy and Match TV acquired television rights for $39 million (more than 2 billion 300 million rubles at the choice of exchange rate). Each of the broadcasters will pay $13 million.
About $1 million more is expected from the Telesport company, which acted as an intermediary under significant circumstances, informs RBC.
