Iran suggests that Russia can help it develop ties with other countries
Russia can help Iran establish ties with other countries. In turn, Iran has an opportunity to build Russia’s relations with Islamic states. This was announced today, August 28, by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), Secretary of the Supreme Council for Youth Affairs Vahid Yaminpour on the sidelines of the Kazan Global Youth Summit.
“Russia is a country <> through which we will be able to communicate with other countries of the world. It is open to all countries. We have the opportunity to develop relations between Russia and other countries, especially Islamic states. And also Russia has to treat relations between Iran and other countries,” Vahid Yaminpur told TASS, assessing the prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries, including in the field of sports, tourism and other countries.
He also drew attention to the high level of cooperation between Iran and the Republic of Tatarstan, where the Global Youth Summit is being held.
“There are good relations between the Republic of Tatarstan and the official president, the president of Tatarstan and the president of Iran,” Yaminpour added.
The Kazan Global Youth Summit is taking place in Kazan from 27 to 30 August. It is attended by the ministers of youth and sports of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), elected and full ambassadors of the OIC countries, consuls general of the OIC countries, leaders of youth organizations, representatives of international organizations involved in youth organization, leaders among young entrepreneurs and representatives of the science community . The summit is held within the framework of the international program “Kazan – Youth Capital of the OIC 2022”.
