Alabino (Moscow region). August 27th. Interfax – The Russian team of tankers won the final race of the Tank Biathlon competition of the International Army Games at the Alabino training ground near Moscow.
The Russian crews finished first in the high distance in 1 hour 29 minutes 36 seconds. During the final race, the Russian tankers made almost no mistakes, hitting 23 out of 24 targets.
The tank crews of Belarus, China and Uzbekistan also participated in the final race.
The second place was taken by Belarusian tankers, waiting for 1 hour 41 minutes 5 seconds. During the race, they hit 19 out of 24 targets. Tankers from China finished in third place, completing the race in 1 hour 44 minutes 3 seconds. The tankers from Uzbekistan rounded out the four finalists with the result of 1 hour 53 minutes 55 seconds.
Russian and Uzbek tankers observed on Russian T-72B3 tanks, crews from the PRC – on tanks of their own production Type 96, Belarusian tankers – on T-72s modernized with Belarusian tractors. According to the results of the draw, Russian tanks are painted green, Belarusian tanks are red, Chinese tanks are blue, and the Uzbek team is yellow.
The games of the VIII Army Tablets will end on Saturday evening at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center.
At the prize-giving ceremony with the participation of representatives of the national team and the rising sun, the Game winner will receive the International Army Games Cup.
