A fire ravages a bus depot south of Toulouse, 14 buses on fire
A major fire broke out this Friday morning in a company bus depot in the town of Labarthe-sur-Lèze south of Toulouse (Haute-Garonne). 14 buses were destroyed by fire. This is the third fire in a month in the area.
The fire broke out this Friday August 19 in the parking lot of the transport company Verbus Verdié located at 201 chemin des Agries in Labarthe-sur-Lèze south of Toulouse. In the early morning, the firefighters intervened for a fire of vehicles.
The intervention mobilized five machines and 20 firefighters. 14 buses were destroyed by the flames. A security perimeter has been set up to prevent the spread to the rest of the industrial area. It is still too early to know the origin of the fire but the criminal trail is strongly influenced.
The third fire in less than a month
strange coincidences, the On August 15, a fire, which occurred in the same industrial zone, had destroyed four hectares and had spread to three cars, two caravans, and two sheds. On July 30, 2022, an electric car company located a few meters from the Verdié bus company also suffered a fire in its depot. Some 500 vehicles were stored at the site.
