The police station in Zbraslav will undergo a transformation: The reconstruction will cost seven million
The police station in Zbraslav is in the area of the former crèches, which form five interconnected one-story pavilions. The utility room is in the middle between the pavilions of the private kindergarten and the cultural-community center, which was reconstructed at the turn of 2017 and 2018. Now the police station will also get insulation of the facade and a new roof. Windows, doors and the heating method will also change. According to the district, the goal is to reduce the energy demand of the building.
The police station in Žabovřeská Street will be repaired according to the project documentation from Projekce CZ. In September 2021, the designers estimated the price of construction work at 3.8 million crowns. The building permit has been available to the town hall since February. The public contract for the builder was issued by Zbraslav Town Hall in April. The tender was won by the company Roddom with an offer of about 5.8 million crowns without VAT, i.e. about 7.02 million CZK with VAT.
This year, the Prague municipality also awarded a subsidy to Prague 2 for the repair of police services on Karlov náměstí, Prague 9 for the reconstruction of the service office in U Mateřské školy Street, and Prague 4 for the repair of police services in Bojanovická Street. The city gives money for the repair of offices on an ongoing basis. So far this year, the city has spent a total of 41.54 million crowns on repairing serviceslast June, it provided a total of 28.67 million crowns to seven city districts.
Zbraslav budget
This year, according to the local council’s approved budget, the Prague-Zbraslav district manages revenues and expenses in the amount of about 146.48 million CZK. For the year 2021, the representatives approved a budget with revenues and expenses of approximately CZK 125.07 million, which increased to approximately CZK 275.9 million during the year. The town hall’s biggest investment this year is the planned reconstruction and construction of the Ottova kindergarten. CZK 15 million is set aside for this.
The municipality of Prague – Zbraslav is located in the south of the capital Prague and, according to information on the website of the municipality, 9,335 citizens live in it. There are 17 members in the council. After the municipal elections in 2018, the 100 pro Zbraslav party won the largest seats, three seats belong to the group ZBRASLAV!, two independent candidates, and one seat each was occupied by the party and group Společne pro Zbraslav and Občanská demokratická strana (ODS). The town hall is now led by the mayor Zuzana Vejvodová (100pro Zbraslav).
