Thirteen supports the Samaritans and their ambulances

A check worth fifty thousand crowns was donated by the City Hall of Prague 13 to the Rescue Service of the Association of Samaritans of the Czech Republic – Prague West. The money will go towards rescue clothing.
According to Press Releases The support of the non-state Samaritan rescue service is very important to Prague 13. Among other things, the cars ensure the transfer of injured, sick and immobile residents.
“The health care system is a key sector and that is why we decided to financially support this non-state organization. During covid, he also participates in antigen testing in many places in Prague and throughout the country. In this way, I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for their commitment and helping hand, not only here in the thirteenth district,” said Mayor David Vodrážka (ODS).
The rescuers will wear new uniforms
The money will be used to purchase new sets of rescue clothing for members of emergency care patient transport teams. Transporting immobile patients is the main task of the rescuers of the Samaritan Association.
“I very much appreciate the successful cooperation with the Prague 13 district and I believe that we will continue it in the future,” thanked Milan Majer, director of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
The gift was presented on behalf of the district by its mayor, David Vodrážka. The Samaritan Rescue Service was taken over by the Association’s financial director Marta Mikulová and press spokesperson Petra Homolová.
The Samaritans help everyone without distinction
The Association of Samaritans tries to help all people in need without distinction. It builds on democratic and humanitarian traditions and therefore helps people of all nationalities, races, religious beliefs and political opinions. In the territory of the capital city and the Central Bohemian Region, for example, it provides the transport of the injured and the sick or planned transports under expert medical supervision. It also provides a round-the-clock medical service at Václav Havel Prague International Airport.
