Bulgaria is third in the EU in terms of industrial production growth in June

Bulgaria ranks third among the EU countries in terms of annual growth of industrial production in June, according to the data of the European statistical service Eurostat, published on Friday.
they think industrial production in our country grew by 17.4% on an annual basis in June (compared to 20.5% growth in May), while on a monthly basis it contracted by 0.9 percent. The result does not rank third behind Ireland (25.4% annual growth) and Denmark (25% annual growth).
Generally industrial production in the EU increased by 3.2% compared to June 2021 and by 0.6% in the direction of May this year. The reported growth in the euro area is in the amount of 2.4% per year and 0.7% per month, respectively.
In the Eurozone, production of capital goods increased by 2.6% month-on-month, energy by 0.6%, while that of intermediate, consumer durables and non-durable consumer goods decreased by 0.1%, 0.6% and 0.6% respectively. 3.2%
In the EU, the picture is the same – the production of capital goods and energy increased (by 2.1% and 0.7% each), while it decreased in the other groups – of intermediate goods by 0.3%, of consumer durables by 1, 1%, and non-durable consumers with 2.3 percent.
On a year-on-year basis, production of capital goods in the euro area rose 7.6% in June, consumer durables by 4%, while energy was unchanged. Production of intermediate goods and non-durable consumer goods decreased by 0.5% and 1.1% respectively.
In the EU, capital goods grew by 7.5 percent per year, the production of non-durable consumer goods by 2.6%, of durable goods and of energy by 2.4% each, and that of intermediate goods remained unchanged.
