Bystanders help victim to recover expensive watch from thieves | Brussels
BrusselsTwo men were arrested in Brussels on Tuesday evening for violently robbing a tourist of his luxury watch. The two suspects were arrested with the help of some bystanders. The victim was therefore able to recover the timepiece, a Hublot worth 30,000 euros.
The victim even wanted to go to his identical one on Tuesday evening. Suddenly were grabbed from behind by a man. The thief tried to pull the watch from the wrist, but it killed itself bravely. A second man came to help his companion and punched the victim in the face. He uses it to empower him to watch and put on a run together. The victim gave chase and was quickly rescued. An attempt to be sure to stop, who was still in possession of the timepiece. The second suspect was restrained by a friend of the victim and other passers-by until inspectors could also arrest him.

The watch, a Hublot timepiece worth 30,000 euros, was damaged at the clasp by the theft, but could be returned to the victim. The two suspects recover to reside in the country. One of them is known for four counts of violent theft and one of pickpocketing. The duo received a direct summons from the Brussels public prosecutor’s office and will have to account for their progress before the criminal courts.
