“Well positioned for profitable growth”
The company is very well utilized “in all areas”, it said. However, bottlenecks in the supply chains are also a challenge for Viscom. Due to missing components, you have to postpone delivery in some cases. Despite this, the testing machine manufacturer generated sales of around 45 million euros in the first six months. That was about 30 percent more than in the same period last year. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were one million euros – almost twice as much as a year ago with 507,000 euros at the time.
The management is therefore confident. Viscom is “well positioned to grow sustainably and profitably”. For the 2022 financial year, the management expects sales of up to 95 million euros – i.e. up to 19 percent more than in 2021 – and earnings before interest and taxes of between 4.5 and 9.5 million euros. The latter would be an increase of up to 226 percent.
