Will the match between Lorient and Lyon scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. take place? For the moment, no decision has been made and as announced yesterday, the League will come and inspect the Moustoir lawn this Thursday and Friday to assess whether the ground is in conformity with the holding of a Ligue 1 match.
Hit by drought and the holding of the Interceltic Festival which is being held at the moment, the lawn is causing great concern, as confirmed by Arnaud Tanguy, general manager of FCL yesterday. Olympique Lyonnais was moved by this state. Among our colleagues from Progress, the club is worried and puts pressure. “It is out of question for the physical integrity of the players to play this Sunday on a degraded playing area”, indicates the club. It will therefore be necessary to wait until Thursday and more likely Friday, after the last of the Wire is held on Thursday evening to find out if the match can be held.
No reply solution exists in the event of impossibility of playing on Sunday, the inversion of the meeting, a few days before the outfit, not being technically possible.
