Airline SunExpress is extending its regular connection from Prague to Antae, which it now operates three times a week. The carrier will offer flights from the end of October once a week, namely every Sunday during the entire winter season. Prague Airport spokeswoman Klára Divíšková informed about it.
In recent years, the Prague airport did not offer a direct flight to Antalya as standard. Starting this May, SunExpress flies to the Turkish destination from Prague three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Antalya has long been one of the busiest and most popular destinations. It is the third most visited city in the world in terms of international arrivals.
“We are therefore happy that SunExpress is extending the line and will thus provide Czech passengers with a connection to the Turkish Riviera even in the winter months,” says Jaroslav Filip, director of aviation business.
A winter air connection to Antalya with SunExpress will be available to passengers from October 30. It will fly from Antalya to Prague every Sunday at 15:55 local time, returning from Prague at 17:55. The flight will be operated by a Boeing 738-800 aircraft with a capacity of 189 seats.
Founded in 1989 as a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, SunExpress is one of the leading providers of charter and holiday flights to Turkey, according to Divíšková.
With its fleet, it serves a network of approximately 51 international destinations. Approximately 10 million passengers travel with it annually.
