Police officers in Prague dealt with a woman with a stolen bicycle. Meanwhile, the man threw two iron pipes at them
During the solution to the woman with the stolen bike, steel pipes flew at the officers and the service vehicle. After a futile attempt to escape, the attacker ended up in handcuffs and in the hands of the state police.
A woman acting as a homeless person who had an expensive bicycle with her seemed suspicious of a man from Boteva Street in Prague 12 and called 156.
The woman told the posted patrol that she found the bike near the trash cans, and when no one came to it for a long time, she decided she could take it. The production number was sanded and painted over. The police officers restricted the 43-year-old woman to her personal freedom, summoned a state colleague on suspicion of committing the crime of concealment, and subsequently provided cooperation in transporting the bicycle and the woman to the office of the Police of the Czech Republic.
While ensuring the state of things and the origin of the bike, another car patrol arrived at the scene. Shortly after her return, two 30-centimeter steel pipes filled with dirt and concrete flew from one of the buildings. One hit a service vehicle and landed about a meter in front of a police officer, the other flew over the head of another police officer and landed on the front hood of a parked vehicle.
The patrol ran out in the direction the pipes had come from and saw a man yelling profanity and running away. The officers began to chase him and the state police patrol joined in the search. Visual contact was made several times with a fleeing man who was throwing various objects from the trash cans and the trash itself at the patrols. After being caught, the 27-year-old man ended up in handcuffs. The case is being handled by the state police.
