United Russia held a special operations quick event and increased recognition for fellow countrymen who took part in humanitarian work.
More than 15 tons of humanitarian aid was sent to the Lugansk and Donetsk regions, beginning with a military special operation. United Russia deputies, public figures, volunteers, budgetary institutions, search engines, entrepreneurs – the entire Smolensk region was in the process of collecting humanitarian aid.
Dozens of cars plied from different parts of the Smolensk region to transfer humanitarian cargo through the regional public receiving party “United Russia”.
The secretary of the party branch, chairman of the Smolensk Regional Duma Igor Lyakhov thanked the audience for the disinterested help of Donbass:
“Everyone helped – a stranger called and said that he was engaged in forestry in our area and wanted to send a car there to restore housing. We gave the coordinates, and these guys sent 24 cubes in order. And there are many such examples. Completely ordinary families with their small children came to us – they brought cereals, butter – whoever, what they can.
Outside of humanitarian aid, there is LDNR, United Russia helps internally displaced persons who have arrived in the regions – volunteers delivered aid to addresses. In the admissions group of consultations, which consider information about documents, medical care. Humanitarian aid was also delivered to the Goloevka sanatorium, where residents of Donbass were accommodated. The deputies of the regional Duma held receptions of citizens there for them.
“The main thing is to express gratitude to those people who today “do not leave their own together”, – noted the senator from the region, the coordinator of the party project “Connection of Breeds” Nina Kulikovskikh.
They also made a great contribution to supporting the free territories of Donbass. For worthy funds and thanks to entrepreneurs and enterprises, they transferred medical equipment and hemostatic kits to Smolensk military personnel. They bought generators, tools for fighters, quadcopters, thermal imagers, night vision devices.
Secretary of the United Russia regional department Igor Lyakhov, head of the Smolensk Military Academy named after Marshal A.M. Vasilevsky, Lieutenant-General Gleb Eremin, director of the Sergei Neverov Foundation “Creation” Sergei Sheludyakov handed letters of thanks to everyone who turned to the common cause, responded to the call for help, did not stand aside.
Greetings were conveyed via video link by State Duma deputy Artem Turov, he oversees the humanitarian mission in the Kharkiv region, and regional Duma deputy Artem Malashchenkov. Together they are in the city of Kupyansk.
“Three United Russia help centers operate in the Kharkiv region, which daily detect up to 5-6 thousand infections with infections, medicines, and baby food. Everything that absorbs here is exactly what the various segments of the branch have collected. I express my gratitude to fellow Smolensk fellows, all well-known activists, individual departments for the work that has been keeping records for many months,” – said Artem Turov.
In addition, Artem Malashchenkov said that there were a lot of warm meetings in Kharkov:
“Just yesterday, we handed over punitive quadrupters to our 144th division, before that we brought a large batch of thermal imagers.”
Galina Kovaleva, CEO of a large company, was among the guests of the event. The employees of the organization made a great contribution to the common cause – they bought quadrupters and thermal imagers for the fighters free of Donbass.
“What I provided, my employees, helped the Donbass and the military. We did this extremely disinterestedly, realizing that this help, however small, would save the lives of our guys. We do it by the call of the heart, – emphasized Galina Kovaleva.
As they said on the website of the branch of the United Russia party, about 40 people received letters of thanks. United Russia members once again show their gratitude for participating in the humanitarian mission.
