Rabbits have invaded downtown Debrecen
We were curious when and how the jump ears that put a smile on the faces of children and couples proliferated. Tamás Pethe, managing director of DEKERT Nonprofit Kft., told our portal that the decorative elements were indeed placed by the company. For his advice, we approached the master gardener of Debrecen, the master gardener of the bunny bushes:
Similar to the vertical runners released last year, this year we came up with these shearable bird quinces. With the aim of bringing a little excitement to the beds
András Kuhn said to our inquiry.
We learned from the head gardener that the animal figure motifs arrived with the current planting and will color the cityscape until the next replacement, but their further fate is not yet known. Obviously, they won’t turn out to be a stew, but it’s possible that they’ll turn up somewhere. He revealed that they can be counted on in the future around a pagon or playground.
András Kuhn revealed that, although they are not currently planning similarly unusual attractions, in the near future they intend to dazzle the people of Debrecen mainly with the quantity of flowers.
A dozen of the bird quince rabbits were scattered around Kossuth Square. Our editors have successfully found eight. We look forward to seeing if our readers discover all twelve. Let the rabbit season begin! We are waiting for comments revealing the bunnies’ hiding places.
