Earlier, an adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine said that the construction could become the goal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “as soon as the first technical possibility appears.”
In a conversation with the radio station “Moscow Speaks”, Member of the Federation Council from the peninsula Olga Kovitidi Sada does not communicate about the words of Alexei Arestovich, since the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait is reliably protected. At the same time, Russia carefully assesses the statements of the Ukrainian side, the senator noted.
“I firmly believe that there is no need to worry. There is no insignificant threat to the Crimean bridge. I consider Arestovich’s statement worthy of our hearing. And we hear them. With whom we are dealing today, and why the goals of the statement are being voiced, we also perfectly understand. We evaluate the technical possibilities in Ukraine that are available today. Moreover, all the given parameters are evaluated ahead of time. Even for technical systems that are not yet installed, but really want to have them.
Russia does not lose vigilance. The Crimean bridge is now guarded by two S-400 Triumph regiments, Pantsir air defense systems, and electronic warfare systems. And yet, given the speculation we’re hearing, additional measures have already been put in place.”
On the eve of Ukraine, military intelligence did not rule out the use of HIMARS against targets in Crimea. On the air of the unified Ukrainian telethon of Ukraine, the representative of the main intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense, Vadym Skibitsky, said that the targets could be “caliber systems, frigates, small missile ships, submarines.”
After Arestovich’s threat, Senator Andriy Klishas said that the attacks on the Crimean bridge speak of the need to denazify all of Ukraine. Demilitarization is necessary to carry out throughout its territory, in case of danger to Russian citizens and the privacy of the Russian Federation, said the head of the Federation Council committee on constitutional legislation.
