BROLN will celebrate the seventies with a concert in the Rožnov open-air museum
The well-known Brno Radio Orchestra of Folk Instruments (BRLON) will celebrate its seventieth anniversary this coming Sunday, July 17, with a concert at the Wallachian Museum in Nature in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The performance starts in the Wooden Town at 3 p.m.

The musicians promise a special jubilee program in which they will accompany singing soloists from many Moravian regions.
“Party girl Natálie Bruštíková, Bohumín singer Veronika Kachlová, Kateřina Martykánová from Kyjovsk, Kamila Tomšejová from Podluží will sing. The Slovak Michal Janošek from Hanác, Vítězslav Klabačka from Uherskobrodsk, the gelding Pavel Ptáček and Karel Rajmic from Hradišť will also be present. Denisa Hanušovská takes care of the Slovak melodies,” said Pavlína Polášková, spokeswoman for the Rožnov open-air museum.
The Brno Radio Orchestra of Folk Instruments is conducted by Petr Varmuža under the dramaturgical direction of Pavel Trkan. Czech Radio editor Jaroslav Kneisl will guide the audience and listeners through the concert and the history of BROLN.
