Interfax-Russia.ru – Andrey Gurovich, the former deputy head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, was detained on suspicion of inappropriate collection of more than 300 million rubles, he is aware of the protection, the telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (TFR) reports.
“The main investigation of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation initiated a criminal case against the representative of the Minister of the Russian Federation for International Security, alleged situations and cases of natural disasters, Andrei Gurovich, on the discovery of cases provided for in paragraph “c” of Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (exceeding the place of detection, resulting in severe consequences) story in Russia.
According to the department, as a result of Gurovich’s actions, “the budget of the Murmansk region accidentally suffered more than 323 million rubles in damage.”
“Gurovich is detaining him, a criminal case is initiated against him.
According to investigators, in 2020 “Gurovich will extract more than 969 million rubles from the federal budget for the construction of a field hospital in the Murmansk region to treat patients with coronavirus infection.”
“According to the follow-up hospital, it was discovered without taking into account the climatic conditions in the region, according to its intended purpose, and was not identified. No measure was taken for the proper use of budgetary funds,” the press release says.
It found that the Investigative Committee contacted the FSB “at the place of residence of Gurovich and other persons, as well as in the territorial subdivisions of the ministry and search departments.”
“The Ministry of Emergency Situations has an impact on the consequences of the use of documents,” the TFR said.
Gurovich was appointed Deputy Minister in June 2018. On May 25 this year, it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin vacated this position by his decree.
