⚖️ François Rebsamen will not be tried for defamation in the case of the Fraternité Saint-Pie-X. The suspect withdrew his complaint yesterday. A decision taken following “clarification” on Friday of comments made by the Dijon mayor in December 2020 during a municipal council.
🔦 François Rebsamen who must face defamation again this Thursday. The mayor was sentenced in January to a suspended fine of 5,000 euros, for having demonstrated that the former director of the convention center had been “relocated” by his former municipality. François Rebsamen had appealed, the court is due to render its deliberation on Thursday.
🎆 The program of official ceremonies for July 13 has been specified by the prefecture. In Dijon, a military and civil parade is announced in the evening from 8 p.m. next Wednesday. It will be on the general de Gaulle course with around 350 participants and around forty vehicles. In the afternoon on Place de la République, several information stands will be set up as part of the “defence – security” forum.
🚅🚈 The return to normal SNCF traffic today in the stations of Dijon and the region. The railway workers were on strike yesterday, for better wages. The strike notice for this weekend has been lifted.
