Return of self-service scooters to Toulouse with Yego
Self-service scooters are returning to the streets of Toulouse under the Yego brand this July. They are available from 0.29 euro per minute.
A green wave invades the Pink City. Self-service scooters have been offered again in Toulouse since the beginning of July by the company Yego. Some 300 Vespa-like electric two-wheelers, green in color, are deployed in the city.
This French operator is setting up after the departure of Indigo Weel in December 2021 after a fire affected its logistics warehouse in Colomiers. She was then no longer able to assure me of her Toulouse park.
The company Yégo, one of whose founders comes from Toulouse, is already present in Paris, Bordeaux, or Barcelona where its headquarters are located. Its scooters are rentable via a mobile application. You must create an account with your driver’s license. The smartphone then unlocks a two-wheeler and acts as a key.
How far to go with Yego in Toulouse?
Each scooter has its own insurance and two helmets. With them, Yego users will be able to drive throughout the Toulouse hypercentre and more distant areas. To the west it is possible to go. To the north, to the Ernest Wallon stadium and the Borderouge metro station. To the east, as far as the Roseraie and the Côte Pavée. And to the south, to Montaudran and the Halles de la machine. But they could not be parked anywhere, it is to be checked on the application.
The service is available from a basic rate of 0.29 euro per minute. But several packs are available: 25 euros for unlimited use for 24 hours or 40 euros for 72 hours
