Until July 24, children’s literature is celebrated in 27 municipalities of Toulouse Métropole.
Taking books off the shelves to meet young audiences and pass on the pleasure of reading is the objective of the national event “Partir en livre”, organized locally by the Festival du Livre Jeunesse Occitanie association in collaboration with Toulouse Métropole.
More than 180 appointments are in libraries, bookstores, associations, cultural facilities…. On the program: readings, creative workshops, discovery of authors and illustrators (Chrysostome Gourio, Anne Letuffe, Frédéric Maupomé, Fanny Pageaud), shows, escape game and even pajama parties… around a unifying and exciting theme: friendship !
This year, new features are also offered to discover the book differently, such as a sound creation from a story.
