Apologies after complaints about De Amsterdamse Zomer festival: ‘Bar staff did not show up’

After it rained complaints on social media, the organization acknowledged that the course of the day left something to be desired. especially about long lines: there will be more than hours waiting for a drink.

Organizers Nicolette van Dam and Bas Smittte of a lack of staff: More than a third of the bar staff did not show up, they write in a statement. ‘We have to solve this, but we couldn’t manage in this challenging market. The Amsterdam Summer is a two-day festival in the Olympic Stadium with artists from Dutch soil, such as Tino Martin, Rolf Sanchez, Kriss Kross Amsterdam, Emma Heesters, René Froger, Trijntje Oosterhuis and Edsilia Rombley.
