Near Toulouse, two teenage girls bitten by a dog
More fear than harm for two teenagers. This Sunday, June 26 in Blagnac, northwest of Toulouse, these 13-year-old girls were indeed bitten by a dog while they were walking with their father around 8:45 p.m.
“One is injured in the buttocks, the other in the left flank, these are small dog bites”, specifies a police source to The Independent Opinion. Arrived on the spot, the police are informed by the father of the minors that the owner of the dog lives nearby. Aged 19, the latter was then questioned by the police.
A Malinois-type dog
As he left his house, his dog snuck up and he didn’t have time to catch up with him before he bit the young girls,” he said, according to a police source.
The animal, a Malinois-type dog, is up to date with his vaccinations. Called on the spot, the Samu disinfected the wounds but was not deemed necessary to involve the firefighters, the injuries being not serious.
For his part, the father said he was filing a complaint with the police. However, at the time of writing, “no complaint has yet been filed”, assures the police. The owner of the dog was left free and “will defer to any legal summons”.
