Parchitelli: “In Vienna the Apulian Youth Symphony Orchestra will make us proud”

The Apulian Youth Symphony Orchestra (AYSO) – a youth orchestra created in 2018 by OrchestrAcademy and made up of children aged between 15 and 25 from numerous music conservatories – will be the only Italian symphony orchestra to participate in the prestigious International Festival ‘Summa cum Laude ‘, scheduled from 1 to 6 July in Vienna.
With the support of the Puglia Region and in partnership with the Department of Tourism, Economy of Culture and Valorisation of the territory, the 60 young musicians of AYSO will participate in an international event also performing on the stage of the ‘Musikverein’, the historic place where it is held. every year the New Year’s concert.
On the morning of 23 June, at the Casa delle Musiche Teatro Kursaal Santalucia, in a press conference by M ° Teresa Satalino and in the presence of the Delegated Councilor for Culture of the Puglia Region Grazia Di Bari, the Director of the Culture Department Aldo Patruno, the Director of the Department for Economic Development Gianna Elisa Berlingerio and the regional councilor Lucia Parchitelli were presented with the program that will see the 60 AYSO musicians engaged in Vienna.
