Hanover (dpa / lni) – Architecture builds the future – on Sunday (June 26) visitors can visit buildings and garden and landscape projects nationwide on this topic. According to the Lower Saxony Chamber of Architects, 110 objects in 54 locations in Lower Saxony and Bremen will also open their doors for the “Day of Architecture”.
In Lingen, for example, you can visit a day-care center that was built into an old church using the “house-in-house principle”. On the other hand, a cowshed in Clausthal-Zellerfeld (Goslar district) built from regional wood stocks shows how lighting and ventilation can create stable conditions that promote animal welfare. Modern construction options for office buildings will also be presented: in Hanover, for example, a building complex from the 1950s was converted into a spacious “open space”.
There are regular guided tours in the participating cities between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Bicycle tours are also offered in Braunschweig and Hanover to visit the projects together.
