The biggest problem is meat
Meat is a rich source of protein, which supplies the body with energy and keeps it saturated for longer. Protein is incredibly important, but vegans do not always take the right amount through their diet and can replace it in the form of protein powder. However, meat also contains nutrients such as vitamin B12 and iron, which help the blood and nerve cells to function properly and support the immune system.

And then there are the dairy products. They contain vitamins A and D and are a great source of calcium. These include many functions including reproductive health and bone health. If you eat a varied vegan diet with lots of legumes, vegetables and cereals, you can get some of these nutrients from them. But to get the amount of animals you need for optimal health, there are dietary supplements.
Which supplements are important
Nutritionist Thalia Pellegrin claims that anyone who eats a purely plant-based diet should definitely take dietary supplements. “I mainly see iron deficient vegans and B12 because they can’t get the right amount through their diet,” he said.
It is also necessary to supplement vitamin A, protein and calcium. Do you think it’s too much? As Thalia Pellegrin says, you can have a really healthy diet and feel great, but being a vegan doesn’t really have to be healthy, so you need some extra support.

Which substances are literally a necessity for vegans? These are vitamin B12, iron, calcium, vitamin D, protein and omega-3 fatty acids. There is also the problem that some vegans rely heavily on processed foods and do not have to eat the various fruits, vegetables and whole grains needed to obtain these key nutrients.
Therefore, if vegans do not eat the right type of life, taking supplements is crucial. But because the substances that vegans lack in their diet are really large, it is the easiest way to health regular use of multivitamins.
