Peskov said that Russia is interested in the supply of fertilizers
Russia and Belarus have their own interest in promoting exports to the markets. This was announced on Friday, June 17, by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
– Both Russia and Belarus – the world’s largest suppliers of minerals – are interested in distributing their products to the cultivation of crops, as it was before. But we didn’t impose it on ourselves,” he noted.
At the same time, the Kremlin spokesman added that it was the United States, the application, Canada and a number of other countries that imposed restrictions on Russia, reports RIA News.
On Thursday, May 19, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the EU would only suffer slightly from the consequences for grain and products from Russia. The politician noted that the West “reversed”, because due to anti-Russian restrictions, the possibility of food development in Europe has increased several times.
In addition, Peskov said that Russia does not pose a threat to the Baltic countries and Finland. According to him, precisely because of any danger of a Russian attack on Finland and Sweden joining NATO, no additional advantages for the security of the European continent can be ruled out.
