All-Russian festival of folk art to be held in Ryazan region – Center |
Ryazan. June 16th. INTERFAX-CENTER – The XXV All-Russian Festival of Folk Art, dedicated to the composer Alexander Averkin, will be held in the city of Sasovo, Ryazan Region, on July 1-2, the press service of the city department of culture and tourism reported on Thursday.
This year, in particular, an inter-regional competition of folk song performers will be held within the framework of the festival. It assumes the participation of teams and soloists from different regions of our country. There is also an open competition of creative artworks “My Land is Beautiful”, aimed at supporting the creative abilities of children and youth.
“The most spectacular event – the gala concert festival – gathers more than 10 thousand spectacles. This year, enjoy the festival of your performance. The Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, the Ryazan State Academic Russian Folk Choir, Ensemble of the Russian Cossacks, People’s Artist Oleg Ivanov of Russia, vocal trio Lada, Honored Artist of Russia Valery Semin and other artists from different regions of Russia,” the statement said in Russia.
The exhibition and sale of products of arts and crafts “Folk Crafts” has become a traditional festival.
The holiday ends with a joint performance of the famous song by Alexander Averkin “A young sailor goes on a visit” and colorful fireworks.
