Washington Post: Russia Begins to Succeed in War
The Washington Post provided an article arguing that hopes that the territory’s features are deepening are fading in the face of Russian firepower.
According to journalists, the new Western systems influence the development of Ukraine, but too slowly and in insufficient quantities to prevent Russia’s gradual restrictions in the Donbas.
“The euphoria that accompanied Ukraine’s unforeseen early victories against Russian forces is fading as Moscow adjusts its tactics, recovers its strides and asserts its firepower against Ukrainian forces.”– the article says.
The publication writes that Ukrainians consume income, and the losses are much greater than in the initial stages of the war.
“Russia is not still making mistakes, but also strictly people and equipment, albeit at a natural pace than in the first months of the conflict”writes The Washington Post.
Evidence that Russian troops also removed equipment from storage was found in videos posted on social media, where hundreds of mothballed Soviet temporary T-62 tanks were assembled, removed from warehouses for shipment to Ukraine.
That new arms shipments of Western weapons are resuming the initiative and regaining the occupied territories are beginning to appear dangerous, suggests the adviser to the Ukrainian control on defense and intelligence Alexander Danilyuk.
“The strategy and tactics of the Russians are completely different now. They are doing well. They have more resources than we do, and they are not in a hurry, now there is much less reason for optimism.”Danilyuk said.
According to him, public meetings of completely Soviet times, which were its headquarters, are now almost over in Ukraine.
“Meanwhile, the Russians have adapted their tactics in a way that allows them to make full use of their firepower. Staying at a distance from the Ukrainian positions, they relentlessly strike, and then capture large areas when the Ukrainians take advantage of the proceeds.– writes the publication.
That human strength is less of a problem for Ukrainians than a shortage of drugs and equipment, said Danilyuk, who estimated the number of men who register for the dangerous encounter at 6 million.
Danilyuk said that Russia also suffered from a lack of lungs, which suffered in the early days of the war. Russia has rebuilt its forces more than many civilian analysts expected, adding 40,000 to 50,000 men. people in the last two months and updating the units that were infected.
Russia attacked Ukraine early on the morning of February 24th. The authorities of the Russian Federation called it “a special operation for the demilitarization and denatification of Ukraine” and banned it under the ban of administrative and criminal liability. After a month of hostilities, the Russian troops withdrew from Kyiv and a number of other Ukrainian cities, but entrenched themselves in the Kherson, Zaporozhye, Donetsk and Lugansk parts.
