“United Russia” with the Ministry of Labor will prepare amendments to the law on employment and the Labor Code
In a situation where the West has declared an economic war on Russia and almost 30,000 foreign companies that employ almost 2 million people have announced a suspension of activities, it is necessary to make legislation more in demand for employers and employees, provide additional opportunities to the regions, said the coordinator of the people’s program party, deputy head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma Andrey Isaev during a round table on labor market support.
He noted that “United Russia” has already received a number of proposals to improve legislation in the field of employment and protection of the rights of employees and enlisted the support of government officials. Among the initiatives is the creation of a single portal “Work in Russia”, where all the country’s vacancies and services in the field of employment are distributed.
“Self-employed births will be registered and supported, companies will receive tax breaks on employment insurance, the age limit for young people who receive employment support will increase to 25 years. The government also supports United Russia’s proposals on the labor market. Among them is an increase in the volume of contracts for citizens to open their own businesses, as well as the organization of temporary and jobs,” Andrey Isaev said.
In addition, United Russia considers it important to resolve the issue of increasing the workload.
“Now there are problems with employment. Those of them who have not received official refugee status. Those who have a Russian passport or have received refugee status have no problem getting a temporary job. But getting refugee status takes time, and people would like to work now. And there are employers who are interested in the new workers,” suggested the deputy head of the faction.
As defined by the Deputy Minister of Labor Elena Mukhtiyarova, anti-sanction laws already adopted in support of United Russia help to avoid a surge in assessments. At the same time, work on a new law on employment did not stop.
“The main task of the new future will include reflecting the reality of the labor market and becoming effective tools for solving problems within the framework of sanctions pressure. Also, at the initiative of United Russia, additional opportunities for employment of minors were developed. It is about removing legal and regulatory barriers that prevent employers from hiring teenagers.

Create an opportunity for collective communication and employers who are interested in career guidance,” the deputy noted.
In conclusion, Andrei Isaev said that in the field of employment, the branch of United Russia would control associations with trade unions and employers’ associations. In the case of obvious failures in the employment service and increased pathogens about mass emissions from employees, prompt solutions are found.
“The United Russia party went to the elections with the people’s system. One of its representatives is the section “Good work – wealth in the house.” We intend to fulfill our obligations to constituencies. And therefore, the adoption of new employment laws for us, amendments to labor legislation aimed at protecting the rights of our employees, creating conditions for the normal work of entrepreneurs is an absolute priority,” Andrey Isaev admitted.
Recall that United Russia and the Ministry of Labor are jointly working on a new version of one of the main officials regulating the labor market in Russia – “On Employment” and are preparing it for consideration by the State Duma for the autumn session. It is assumed that the document will adopt the conditions of the labor market, including within the framework of all the conditions of hostility of states.
